ARTIST & Designer
Harri Thorne is a Meanjin (Brisbane)-based artist and designer with a background in theatre, specialising in visual art and design for stage and screen. His work blends grunge and nostalgic aesthetics, rooted in the raw, the real, and the imperfect-always expressing authenticity and transparency through every piece he creates. These works exemplify Harri's perspective of viewing simplicity and the mundane through a romantic lens, producing images of figures, objects, and symbols with untold stories. Harri has worked across Australia in film, television, ballet, and theatre, producing dynamic, creative sets, costumes, and special effects, bringing a deeper level of immersion to his projects.
